No kid is ever exempted when it comes to nappy rash. No matter how careful you are in looking after your baby’s bottom, your kid will eventually get one at some stage. Sounds horrible right? Not exactly. As long as you know how to deal with nappy rash and you have the right nappy rash cream to save the day, there isn’t really any reason to panic.

Having a baby for the first time is a combination of research and experiment. Sometimes, seeing just a couple of symptoms may cause first-time mummies to go nuts – who wouldn’t? Whenever this happens, one thing is certain: these rashes cause discomfort and pain, and they eventually make our babies irritable. No mother would want to see her child bear such kind of pain.

Finding the right skin care products for your baby’s skin really is a “trial and error” process. Being a mother of two, I can attest to the fact that some products that work for my eldest child’s skin doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s going to work on my younger one’s – who is not only prone to getting nappy rash but also suffers from mild ‘baby eczema’ which gets worse during winter time.

My husband and I have been avid ‘fans’ of Curash ever since the brand was first introduced to us by my mother-in-law over a year ago. Honestly, I personally believe that their product line is the ultimate one-size-fits-all baby care system perfect for infants and toddlers alike.

So without further ado, let’s get on with the review of our top 4 Curash baby care products!

Curash Baby Care Nappy Rash Cream

Personal thoughts: A baby’s sore skin could lead to even more damaging results – blisters and fever. Therefore, it is imperative to take preventive measures to stop this from happening. The main cause of nappy rash is prolonged dampness, so when our babies wear wet or dirty nappy for a long time, the substances released from the wee or poop can cause irritation to their skin. We’d probably say that changing the nappy can solve everything, but here’s what – it could make things worse by stopping the air from circulating. Even elements from soap and detergent could also add to the problem. The Curash Baby Care Nappy Rash Cream is soft, smooth, and gentle for my baby’s sensitive skin as it is combined with Vitamin E and 20% zinc oxide that helps heal and protect the skin. This isn’t just made to cure nappy rash like most creams do, it also prevents such to happen — pretty convenient right? It’s fairly easy to apply with its one-handed use and suits even the most sensitive of skins. This nappy rash cream has become my favourite partner for my baby. I’m quite confident you will find this just as helpful too. Remember mums, prevention is better than cure.

Curash Multi-Purpose Healing Cream

Personal thoughts: If there’s one most-overused product in my nappy bag, it’s the Curash Multi Purpose Healing Cream. A toddler and a baby combo in the house would mean a lot of nappies and an intense day care workout, not to mention the endless possibilities of my kids getting acquiring skin conditions at varying degrees. That’s why it is essential for me to keep this particular cream on hand – be at home or at a play date. The Curash healing cream product works just when it comes to skin care management. It is a lotion-type of cream, only a little bit thicker, with no detectable scent so it really soothes and relieves your baby of the discomfort brought by nasty skin conditions. And the good news is – the healing cream isn’t only suitable for babies but even for adults too. It’s great for burns, dryness, abrasions, and works well for those with sensitive skin.

Curash healing cream product

Product features and benefits:

  • The calming effect of this cream is due to its amazing properties: a mixture of Calendula and Aloe Vera which are both moisturising and soothing agents for all skin types. You probably haven’t heard about Calendula but it is a herb that has been proven effective for various skin conditions over the centuries. It contains antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that are widely used in homeopathic skin care products that work miracles on irritated skin.
  • I like the fact that it is PH balanced and hypoallergenic: a must for babies. It also comes with a 75ml flip-top soft tube with a flip-top lid that helps prevent contamination of bacteria unto the cream
  • Helps heal and soothe neck and dribble rash, dry and chafed skin, dermatitis, and eczema, and minor abrasions

Curash Soap Free Bath

Personal thoughts: As part of my routine, I give my baby boy a bath every other day to keep him nice and clean without the fear of getting his skin irritated. As most of us know, too much tap water could actually dry out and damage baby’s sensitive skin – most especially when they’re only months old – so I try to avoid that as much as possible. However, there are days when the little mister could really use a bath and I would resort to sponge baths, but to no avail. (If you know what I mean!) I’ve been trying the Curash Soap Free Bath on him for a week now and all I can say is “wow!” Not a single issue and I can definitely see significant improvements on his skin in terms of his eczema clearing up.

What I do is I use one pump of the soap bath into a 10-liter bath; swish the water vigorously to foam bath, and then I start cleaning my baby’s head, body, and skin folds using a soft wash cloth.

This soap-free bath, in particular, is nothing short of amazing. You’ll instantly know, feel, and smell the difference! (Because the scent is just distinctively good!)

Curash Soap Free Bath

Product features and benefits:

  • Enriched with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera that gently cleans and moisturizes the skin so it leaves baby’s skin feeling fresh and clean right after a bath.
  • It is dermatologically tested and comes with a moisturising, gentle formula that helps maintain the natural moisture of the skin keeping it soft and smooth.
  • Designed with a pump action structure, so I can always keep hold of my baby while using the product — how convenient!

Curash Vitamin E Wipes

Personal thoughts: Baby care wipes have unquestionably become an integral part of a mother and a baby’s life. Obviously, wipes provide instant access when it comes to keeping our bubs immaculately clean without resorting to the old school method of dipping cotton balls into a small tub of water and using those as wet wipes substitutes – most especially when you’re out of the house. 🙂

It’s a known fact that the skin around the baby’s nappy area is constantly exposed to wetness caused by urine and poop, and since this particular area consists of more folds and creases compared to other areas in the body, it is usually the most difficult to clean. Although wet wipes are extremely convenient, some contain a myriad of ingredients you probably don’t know about (unless you’re a chemist), so it is important to check the labels prior to purchasing.

Curash Vitamin E Wipes are specially formulated to moisturise and protect baby’s skin. The thickness, consistency, and level of moisture of each wipe is perfect for getting your bub clean and smelling good in a jiffy! I’ve read other reviews about the wipes being too wet, but that doesn’t bother me at all. In fact, I like it that the wipes have a decent amount of moisture that makes it easier to remove gunk stuck to the skin.

Curash Soap Free Bath

Product features and benefits:

  • Irritant-free and lightly scented
  • Soap and paraben-free
  • pH Balanced and alcohol-free
  • Safe to use on all skin types as it has been dermatologically tested

So far, my experience with the above-mentioned products by Curash Baby Care has been nothing but impressive and has exceeded my expectations as a mother. I can definitely see myself patronising these for my children in the years to come
